Recently the Settled Minister Search Committee put the final touches on First Church’s Congregational Record. Ministers looking to be settled are now able to view our Congregational Record online.
The Committee will be meeting with the Heartland Interim District Representative, Rev. Lisa Presley, in the next month or so to go over the next steps in the process. We should start getting some applicants around that time too.
Our next big job is to assemble the informational packet to exchange with potential candidates.
Thanks to all of you for your support of our work to select First Church’s
next minister.
The Ministerial Search Committee,
Dr. James A. Robinson, Chair
Dr. Ivan Cotman

We had an informational meeting after church on Oct 29 and will have another on Nov 12 at 1:30 PM to review the revisions and give everyone a chance to make further modifications.

Join with UU's and the Message dialog

people from our church who attended the Iftar at Wayne State. First UU was well
represented. Thank
you to the dialog club for inviting us. We were able to deepen our understanding
of the joys of Ramadan. Interfaith understanding is often in short supply these
days. - Margaret Wilkie
