Babies & Toddlers
We welcome and support families with young children by offering a warm and nurturing nursery atmosphere. The nursery involves play, storytelling, an age appropriate snack, and music or singing lead by fabulous, well-trained child care providers.
Organized childcare is available for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in the nursery room (on the second floor) every Sunday during the school year (September – May). Children may be dropped off up to 15 minutes before church and should be picked up no later than 20 minutes after the end of the church service (this allows a few minutes for parents to socialize in coffee hour).
The nursery is open as a space for informal childcare (parents caring for their own children, teens babysitting at a parent’s request for a church event, etc.) during summer Sundays (June – August) and other church events. To request use of the nursery for informal childcare or play space, please see a minister.
Nursery Guidelines:
*
Please clearly label your child’s belongings. Diaper bags can be hung on the
hooks to your left when you enter the nursery.
* Bottles should be labeled and ready to serve.
* A simple snack such as Cheerios or Goldfish will be served. Please inform
us if your child has any food allergies.
* Parents should complete a registration card before dropping their child off
in the nursery.
* On your first visit to the church, we suggest arriving early and spending some time playing with your child in the nursery room prior to leaving for the service.
