Worship & Personal Faith
Bridges Program

What is Worship and Personal Faith Development?

Worship is practice of connecting your beliefs to your actions, particularly in the way that you relate to that which you consider to be of upmost importance in guiding your life decisions. We all have something we worship – for some people that “something” is God or a higher power. For others, that “something” could be an idea, a goal, the interconnected web of existence, the goodness of mankind, or even a possession (we all know people who worship their material goods such as their clothes or cell phone).  As we develop our personal faith beliefs, we also develop our ability to worship and to put our beliefs into practice.

What do I need to do?

You have seven goals to complete in this milestone. For each goal, you will complete 13 learning experiences. If you complete a learning experience for one goal, it counts for that goal only (so, no double counting!).

Everyone who achieves this milestone needs to complete four core learning experiences: Worship Leader, Spiritual Disciplines, Theology, and Statement of Faith.

Take a look at the list of learning experiences and mark the ones you might be interested in.

4.1 Be knowledgeable of different forms of worship. (complete at least two – only one of which can be a learning experience which is marked with an asterisk *)
