Building Community Through Service

Everyone is part of a community. You’re in community at school, in your neighborhood, among your friends, within the city, and at church. In this milestone you will focus on learning about the communities you are in and finding creative ways to serve within your communities.

What do I need to do?

You have seven goals made up of 12 learning experiences to complete in this milestone. If you complete a learning experience for one goal, it counts for that goal only (so, no double counting!).  Everyone who achieves this milestone needs to complete four core learning experiences: Lay Leader, Service Learning, Volunteering & Community Service, and UU Service Committee.

Take a look at the list of learning experiences and mark the ones you might be interested in.
